Tahu on Fire

Description

Here's a little piece of my Gen3 Tahu. For some reason, I absolutely love the idea that he holds his sword in a reverse grip. My thoughts behind it are that he holds it this way to show off. He's showing that he has the strength to hold such a big sword this way and still remain agile while he fights. Kopaka always looks at this with disgust and calls it "Unorthodox." Tahu doesn't care though, he even goes as far as to hold everything reversed to just annoy the parka off of Kopaka. Tahu began training with swords this way after he wanted to prove himself to his Weapons Mentor, eventually making him one short of a teacher. Even without anyone there to help him hone his blade skills, he managed to self-train himself into fighting naturally this way.

On a tangent, I've had a discussion about my g3 idea with one of my commenters (:icongusindor:) and I've changed the genders of two toa - Kopaka and Lewa are now girls. WAIT! Let me explain... this started off as the misinterpretation of my designs by some of my watchers and this went off with me and Gus pointing out that the male to female ratio felt a bit unnatural and perhaps a change was in order. So now, Kopaka is a ice-cold-lady-warrior and Lewa is a teenage, axe-wielding daredevil tomboy (Perhaps not described with these words, but you get the picture)

Yeah, my Toa have varying ages, the largest age gap being between Lewa and Onua. Youngest to oldest goes like this Lewa (Who's still considered a child), Tahu, Pohatu (Tahu and Pohatu just turning into adults), Gali, Kopaka, and Onua (Being considered middle-aged) Anyways, hope you enjoy this piece and have a nice day!

Is it just me or is the reverse grip sword fighting technique a little Guilty Gear-Esque....?
